Negotiated Employment Agreements

2007-09 Employee Agreements

At their February 1, 2007 meeting, the Board of Trustees ratified the 2007-09 negotiated bargaining agreements with the SCEA (faculty), NSCPA (professional staff) and NAPE (support staff.)

The new agreements will increase the existing salary base of each unit member for each year of the agreement by 4%.  Other major changes include:

  • extension of the early retirement incentive programs that have been offered since 1993
  • implementation of an employee assistance program by July 1, 2007
  • implementation of a voluntary vision insurance program during the second year of the agreement
  • implementation of a reasonable cause alcohol and drug testing program
