The Nebraska State College System Scholarships

The Nebraska State College System offers various scholarships through each college and the System Office. Two scholarships are offered through the Nebraska State College System Office. They include:

Board of Trustees’ Scholarship provides full-tuition scholarships for Nebraska high school graduates who score a 25 or above on their ACT and plan to attend college the following fall (click on link to read about other requirements)

Davis-Chambers Scholarship provides full-financial assistance (tuition, room and board, fees and books) based on the FAFSA form to academically promising students from diverse racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds in Nebraska who meet requirements (click on link to read more about requirements)

 Chadron State College

Chadron State College offers a variety of scholarships for all students, including freshman, continuing and transfer students. These scholarships are awarded based on academic ability and extracurricular activities. Scholarship information and applications are available at www.csc.edu/finaid. Scholarships may also be awarded through various departments at Chadron State College and may require  separate applications. This information is indicated at www.csc.edu/finaid.  under the scholarship listings. Application deadline is January 15 for Freshman students  and March 1 for Current and Transfer students.

 Peru State College

Peru State College offers a wide range of scholarships for prospective students.  In order to be considered for PSC scholarships (exclusions are the Board of Trustees Scholarship, Davis Chambers Scholarship and Cooperating Schools Scholarship), students need to submit our Application for Admission & Scholarships available online at www.peru.edu/admissions, submit official high school/college transcripts, and submit official ACT or SAT test scores (not required for transfer students).  Our scholarship priority date is December 1.  If you have questions regarding scholarship opportunities at Peru State College, please contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@oakmail.peru.edu or 1-800-742-4412 opt. 1.

Wayne State College

The purpose of the Wayne State College financial aid program is to financially assist admitted students wherever possible based on documented student ability and/or need, in combination with available resources. No student should hesitate to apply to WSC because of cost. Approximately 75 percent of our undergraduate students receive financial aid totaling in excess of $13 million to meet their costs of attending WSC.
