Today, Governor Pete Ricketts, leaders of Nebraska’s public higher education institutions, and members of the business community launched the “Commit to Complete” campaign.  The statewide initiative aims to minimize college costs and grow the workforce by encouraging students to graduate on time.

The Board of Trustees approved a new strategic plan and three agreements to create seamless pathways for students to reach their education and create more opportunities for them to attain their career goals. 

Update from June Board of Trustees Meeting

The Board of Trustees for the NSCS unanimously voted to set tuition and fees for the next two years. Full-time students attending the State Colleges will pay an additional $4.50 per credit hour.

The renovation and addition of Chadron State College’s Math Science building is now a reality thanks to the recently approved budget by Nebraska State Senators and Gov. Pete Ricketts.

Gov. Ricketts has appointed Sam Klammer of Juniata, NE, Kayla Myers of Sidney, IA, and Ashley VanMeeteren of Yankton, SD to serve as student representatives on the NSCS Board of Trustees.

The NSCS is launching the 2019 Disaster Relief Tuition Waiver Program.

The Nebraska State Colleges Board of Trustees selected Dr. Tracy Nobiling as the 2019 Teaching Excellence Award Recipient for the Nebraska State College System.
