Free tuition for Pell-qualified Nebraska students at Chadron, Peru, and Wayne State.

The State Colleges had an overall gain in full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment of 1.37%.  

On August 6, the Governor signed LB1008, which includes funding for the State Colleges’ Career Scholarship Program and funding to establish the Corrections Workforce Development Pathways program, a pioneering partnership between Peru State College and the NDCS.

The State Colleges are lowering their online rate to $359 per credit hour for graduate-level courses for PK-12 educators.

The State Colleges are lowering their online rate to $299 per credit hour and creating avenues to assist working students in completing their degrees. 

The State Colleges will welcome students back to campus one week earlier for the 2020 fall semester and end the semester before Thanksgiving. 

Chadron, Peru and Wayne State Colleges are looking forward to welcoming students back to campus in person for the Fall 2020 semester, and planning is currently underway.

The Nebraska State Colleges Board of Trustees selected Dr. Beth Wentworth as the 2020 Teaching Excellence Award recipient for the Nebraska State College System.
